Still have issues connecting?

If you have a firewall on your computer (e.g. Norton, McAfee or AVG), it may interfere with the photo application installation. We recommend you temporarily disable your firewalls to allow you to complete the initial installation of Digital Photo Disc and allow you to view, unlock and export your photos.

These below examples show the correct firewall settings for Norton Utilities and Windows XP SP2.2 (Service Pack 2.2). It is possible that the exact location of these settings could change according to the version of your firewall software. Please follow the steps below depending on your operating system.

Windows 7

When you first install the Digital Photo Disc, you should see the standard warning about installing a program. If you allow it, it should be approved automatically.

If the program doesn't connect to the internet correctly, it's possible that it may be blocked by the firewall. Follow the steps.

  1. To unblock, open your start menu, select control panel, then windows firewall and click on Windows Firewall
  2. Within the pop up window find Our Cruise Photos Digital in the list and ensure it is checked on the left
  3. If it's not listed in, select Add Another Program and then add Get the Picture! to the list.
